Eyelash - SOLD

by Cindy Weil and contributors

At some point in the 1990’s fuzzy novelty yarns came into vogue with knitters and crocheters around the country. Highly flammable, difficult to work, and itchy - they just as quickly went out of vogue, and forgotten skeins were left unused in the bottom of yarn baskets - that is, until the Immigrant Yarn Project called. It didn’t take long for makers to recycle/up-cycle their orphaned yarns and we’re thrilled they did. This totem made entirely out of novelty “eyelash” yarn is a pure joy.

52” high x 13” in diameter. Acrylic, cotton and/or wool yarn covering a heavy-weight, recycled, hollow core.
